Do you feel any kind of connectedness to the town where you make your home?I came to this town in 2002 in dire straights. I lived with my sister and brother-in-law for five months, then was able to get a place to rent on my own. I felt so alone then, but over the course of time I've made friends and have become very fond of this town. I have a sense of connectedness like I've never felt anywhere else I've lived. When I see the town's landmark, I have a weird sense of pride -- this is my home.

I live in a small town that is all quiet after around 10 pm most every night. There isn't to many restaurants over crowding us here so we are able to cook more often and not be tempted to eat out so much. The people here are more friendly than anywhere else I have lived and I like that. I have only lived here for about a year and don't know that many people but I kinda like it like that. Where I used to live is filled with trouble makers and people from my past that I am trying to leave behind. I prefer to be here because I feel I am better off now than I was before. So I am connected because it's a small quiet town where no one gets in your business unless you make it their business.

Sounds like you're happy there. I like lots of restaurants where I live. Even though it's not in my budget to eat out a lot, I like having them available. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

I live in the community I was raised in.I feel very blessed to live where I live. Its a small town but its growing.I know growth is going to happen but I'm not sure how I feel about it.Some call it progress I don't know if I'd call it that.I like the small town aspect and the beautiful mountains that surround us.So I guess I wouldhave to say I feel blessed and proud to live where I live.

Seeing growth in the town you call home I think is a mixed blessing. Sure, there's progress and that's nice -- if only you could have the progress without the traffic, eh?? Thanks for sharing your thoughts, paul.
