There were many unforgettable ones. Lucy's....Ethel Kramden's...Norton Mary's...Rhoda Cybill's....Maryann Laverne's...Shirley Shirley's...Laverne Seinfeld's....Kramer Seinfeld's....Elaine Those Golden Girls I am sure there are more, but the two at the top of my list will always be the best. Considering that Vivian Vance was in more than one of Lucy's series', she most definitely gets my vote as the greatest tv sidekick ever. Those two women still make me laugh extremely hard when I watch any of the Lucy shows, especially I Love Lucy. I don't think the show would have been as successful or funny had Vivian Vance not been in it. So...who's your favorite tv sidekick?

My favorite comedy sidekick is Bullwinkle to Rocky or Rocky to Bullwinkle. My second place id Tom And Jerry. They both were great duos.

Cartoon animal sidekicks, eh? Not exactly where I was going with the question, but how 'bout Pooh's Eyore or Piglet? Or Yogi's BooBoo. PEACE

No.You can think of Pooh without Eeyore and Yogi without Boo Boo.The closest live action comedy duo I can think of is Dave and Maddy in Moonlighting.

Mork and Mindy= Mindy. Pam Dawber was a great straight person. They ended up on the show married, and raising their child. He was played by Jonathan Winters. Between Williams and Winters, I think she did a terrific job.

Can you even imagine how hard it would have been to not laugh yourself silly working with those two? I know they both adlibbed so much on that show, Robin trying to outdo the master, Jonathon. PEACE

The Best had to be Andy's sidekick Barney. Barney is the one that really made the show. I still watch the Andy Griffith Show today and never get tired of Barney and the faces that he made!

I have to say I enjoyed watching Gilligan and the Skipper the most! It was in reruns the whole time I was growing up! I watched most of these shows that you mentioned, but I definitely liked Gilligan the most! He would have rather been called, "Gil Eggan!" He mentioned it in an interview, it is on Wikipedia!
