How often do you change your toilet rolls???

I buy the contonelle double roll. I buy a six pack at a time and with 3 people in the house, we goroa pack every month and a half or so. I can always tell when hubby uses the bathroom more at home, we go through tp a lot quicker. I encourage him to do his business at work LOL

It really depends around here. We have 3 bathrooms, so it varies based on who uses what bathroom and how often. The roll in the bathroom closest to the bedrooms gets changed the most often. That is maybe 2 times a week.

I swear everytime I got to the bathroom there is no paper!! LOL!! We have 4 people living here, me, my husband and our sons 4 and 5. I know boys only need it when they go number two so where does it all go?? I think they eat it..LOL! We go through about 4 rolls a week. Im glad its not expencive or we would go broke buying butt paper!! LOL!

I use way less now than I did before. I was just noticing this awhile back when it was only myself at home, and I'm not home much working the way that I do. I tend to use a little bit more when my youngest daughter is at home but she tends to be gone every other day. I can tell a difference in how often I have to change out the toilet paper rolls if I use a single roll or a double roll, I prefer the double roll type since I don't have to change it out nearly as often.

It is very similar with us. we are only two and we also use one roll for two, three days and we are using those mega roll, sincce I don't like to change the rolls every day. But It is different from you since I am at home, so I spend a lot of time here.

We have 5 of us. My husband and I and our three kids. one which is in the process of potty training. I've never counted how many rolls we use a month. Its alot i'm sure. I alway buy the 24 pack. If I had to guess I would guess 3 of the 24 packs of toilet paper a month. Wow that is alot.

I think we have the same problem.LOL Its just my hubby and I and we change ours every 2 to 3 days. I think it might be worth it to pay a little more and get more on the roll.

We are a house of 3 women. We go thru about 2 rolls per week and sometimes more depending on company etc. I do know that the cheaper brands disappear faster. I go with Scott and it is only a few cents more but seems to last much longer. If I buy the store brand, it is gone in a day or two.

Wow, that's too much toilet paper usage! We're 6 in the family and we change our toilet paper rolls once a week. We are trying to slowly change the world, you see, less toilet paper, the bigger chance of *no global warming*. Go green!

I did it once every day.We have two small kids too. So sometime they played with it or need to use it too.

I always have three rolls inside the bathroom.. I have to make sure that i always have a stock... I change 2 to three times and three of us share that toilet

We have 6 of us in our house, and we go through 6 - 8 rolls a week, so I guess that is roughly a roll each a week! I do not buy really expensive stuff as I do not see the point when all I am going to do with it is flush it down the loo! But we buy rolls that are quite big with plenty on. I just wonder how come it seems to be always me that goes to the loo to find no paper and I am the one who always has to change the roll!

i wish i was as lucky as you ,i change toilet paper rolls 2or3 times a day ,my kids go through it like they are eating it or something ,i ask them all the time why they use so much toilet paper and they swear they dont ,maybe i got an evil toilet paper spirit in my house LOL,anyway dont feel bad every 2 days is nothing compared to my house.

Toilet rolls..a bum subject in my house..pardon the pun! There are 2 of us in our house too,we get through them way too fast. As you say I think quality has something to do with it,but when you are on a budget you tend to go for value. We use around 4 or 5 a week...lol..maybe we have a continence problem!!!

I use either scott or marcal that both come with 1000 sheets (though I think all brands are making their sheets smaller these days) and with 3 gals in the house and 2 men we change the roll every 2.5 days it seems on average.

That's what it sounds like. In our house we always buy double rolls. It costs a little more, but its worth it because it lasts longer. I will only talk about the Guest bathroom, because its the one that is used the most. In our house, we have 5-6 people. I say 5-6 because I have a sister who lives here, but as she grows older and more rebellious (She's 17) she stays away from home a lot of the time. We change the roll in the guest bathroom about every 2-3 days. There are only two males in the house, so you know that the toilet paper is being used but good. If we are talking a roll every three days (at the most, then that's about ten rolls a month for the guest bathroom alone. We also have to account for the Master bathroom, and the downstairs bathroom, but they are hard to count because use is sporadic. We buy our tissue from Sam's Club, a jumbo pack that holds 36 double rolls, and we use half of that a month, so I guess our house uses about 18 rolls a month in total. Again, the only reason I can think of you running out of toilet paper so often, is that you are buying a single roll of a thin brand. Try buying a four or six pack of the double rolls, any brand, and see if that lasts a little longer for you.
