Garden snails?

Well it is a very popular dish in France but i don't know the right way to cook them and i am not sure if they are the ordinary garden variety and i certainly wouldn't eat them if they have been near snail bate...i don't think I would eat them...

Garden snails is this the same as kuhol? If it does I guess it is safe to eat. I have eaten it many times and nothing happened to me. It is tasty and really appetizing. It is present during drinking sessions. Usually it is "ginataan", cooked with coconut milk and some other flavorings. You must try it! =)
