Going to Jail for Charity?

Yup it sounded crazy at first but, when I was pitched the idea it made perfect sense. The MDA (Muscular Dystrophy Association) Has asked me to do just that. I've done several charity events for the Cancer Society, Shriner's Clinics, and several other benefits, but none were so creative. The idea is to have a couple of local police officers come and arrest me and basically I sit in jail until I reach my goal of $3000 dollars. So the newspaper shows up and watches me run from the cops, get tackled, and put in handcuffs. Then from the cell i make several phone calls until I can reach my goal. But I figure i better get a head start. cause with the economy the way it is It'll be much harder to raise the amount in a town as small as mine. Thats where you guys come in. I need you to be my voice. Reach as many as you can. I'd rather not stay more than a day but I'm determined to stay until I reach my goal. Ive made a small website to show what it's all about and I've even made it to where people can donate if they choose to online (which will go straight to the MDA. I can not personally touch that money. if your skeptical). As a life long Amputee myself I have seen the struggle a lot of these kids go through. If you only knew how heart breaking it is. Some of them dont have the strength to lift thier arms. A few were dropped off at the hospital as babies because their parents couldnt take care of them. And its rare to find people who will adopt a disabled child. If you cant donate even a dollar or two. Tell your friends, tell your family. We have to speak out for these kids, because we are capable and they are not. And if I have to take that responsibility alone then I will. If you can even tell one person then you are possibly helping these children live batter lives. heres the link. https://www. mdaevent. org/ParticipantInfo.aspx?j=1eb412af-6543-49d0-97c2-032c6bb26ad0
