Do you work in the same area as your specialty in school?

In the university i major in chemistry,but after having worked in this area for several months i found that i don't like the job and it's also harmful for my body.The work related to chemistry is not fit for the girls,and most of my girl classmates were engaged in the occupation that is foreign to the chemistry.So i had the job-hopping,and now I became a secretary.Sometime I doubt whether i was waste of 4 years in the college,if i didn't go to the college,i can also do the job.But i don't know what better jobs fit for me. So I suggest the senior school students consider seriously before choosing the specialty.
