Why does the virtual memory on computer go down?

Well it could be because there might be some virus making your process shot up or it could be you had open a programe or too many programme that your computer can't handle if that the case you might wanna add more ram to your computer yea .

Virtual memory goes down becouse u have big program in you computer like adope photoshop, Ulide, Micromedia or some editing video or grafic program. Just try remove that program.

hi...virtual memory that the OS uses the hard disk space as virtual RAM..... increase it by goin to system properties and so you wont have any problems...

Hi This isn't going to answer the question as it is one I want to know the answer to also so will be watching this discussion to see what responses you get. I receive this message all the time but my computer automatically updates and makes more space. hope someone respond who does have the answer to this one. Ellie :D

Well, i think this error only comes whenever your computer memory is used by some other processes,, and to avoid this you just have to increase your virtual memory, or buy some RAM,,, i don't think there's a problem in corruption of RAM and HARd disk...

so you are playing games and you received that error, i think you need to change your video card because that error is based on the performance of your video card.. another thing is that your game or program ur using is so high thats why your video card cannot reach its requirements, in shot buy a new video card.. :)
