I prefer to watch a laughterfest, especially with a few friends or something. If I am in the mood for a horror I love watching them at night, it gives it a much better feel and scare. Comedy you can watch any time of the day.

I too prefer watching horror at night and comedy during daytime. The effects of watching a horror movie wont be the same during daytime.

I too am a horror lover. Watch '30 days of the night'. Its so scary and chilling. 'Carver' too is pretty scary. The scariest movie that i had seen in a long time has to be 'The descent'.

Ya mate, 'The Descent' was pretty creepy. The concept of getting trapped like that in an underground cave is pretty realistic.

Of the two, I prefer Comedies. I hate being scared and I like sleeping at night. But my favorite genre is mystery/suspense.

I have seen a lot of horror so i am not scared by most of them . So i watch them at night. I like reading mystery novels than movies. My all time favourite is Agatha Christie whose mysteries i could not solve 90 percent of the time.

I haven't read any Agatha Christie but I have seen films made from her movies. Some of them were made for t.v. The one I figured out was Murder With Mirrors. It is the only one I have found all the clues and put them together and solved the case. I usually only get a few clues and that's it.

You are missing the thrill of watching horror mate. Try watching the 'saw' series and you will become an horror addict.

oh i see, i usually watch horror movies at night since that's my free time and if the movie is based on a true story i easily get scared so i would prefer to watch it during the day, heck i cant even surf ghost sites at night when the lights are out coz i get scared! especially if the site has scary music in the background! i always look at my back to see if there's something behind me! but once i turn on the light, i feel better.

Asian horror movies are known for their original stories. Most of them are psychological horrr movies. Some of them can scare the crap out of you.

I prefer comedy than horror movies. Think it's because I'm quite a scaredy-cat haha! i rarely watch horror movies- not because i'll get nightmares but because i'll be too afraid to sleep alone in my room. i'll keep thinking of the movie or that something is there in my room and will disturb me, things like that. so it's comedy for me hehe :D

Horror movies can be a lot of fun too. Once you see a considerable amount you would get used to getting scared. But i guess you know what is best for you.

I would prefer comedy than horror films, especially when I'm alone and its nightime. (= I just can't stand the heart pounding and the hair rising scenes on horror films. I will hide my face at someones back or cover my face with my hands, and sometimes, cover my ears, too, so I can't see nor hear those terrifying scenes.

I like offbeat, quirky comedies..not slapstick or bathroom humor. Every once in a while I like to watch horrors and thrillers but nothing too gory and not right before bed (I don't want to have nightmares) :-O

I prefer watching comedy films than horror. I want to relax and be entertained that's why I watch a movie. I don't want to watch scary films because it makes very frightene and nervous that I can't sleep at night.

Depends on the film really. I wouldn't watch Epic Movie or Date Movie at any time of the day if I had a choice. If the movie's good, it's good. I'm not too concerned about genre as long as I enjoy the film. Also, I believe it depends what mood you in. Sometimes you want something funny, sometimes creepy. Or sometimes both.

Comedy hands down. I get scared too easy to watch horror flicks. Now give me Scary Movie 3 and I will watch that :). But really I like to laugh so comedies are it for me. They pick me up when I am down and I can escape from life for a little while. Definitely comedies for me. Maybe it is because I'm a girl. I think guys like the horror ones better.
