This is a terrible discussion you've started LOL! I have been pretty much obsessed with chocolate since I've been diabetic and find it quite hard to resist it! If you put an Easter egg in front of me and in front of you, I would beat you to pigginess cos I'd eat mine and then eat yours too hahahaha! Beat that for being a piggy! x

Hi Sue, glad I made you chuckle, I have to chuckle sometimes and act silly, it helps me fend off the chocolate cravings. Sometimes I look at my 6ft1 husband and see a huge bar of chocolate hahahaha! I need help! x

I am one of the many diabetics on MYLot and I love chcocolate dearly. I will do anythiing to make it legal to eat some but again I start on one big egg and somehow I always eat the whole thing then like the old commercial I cannot believe I ate the whole thing. Then I want to kick myself around the block as I know better but I really love the stuff.

it must be so hard being a diabetic and not having chocolate.they should make it legal just for the chocoholics especially diabetic chocoholics.you just can not stop at one tiny piece.thanks for sharing.cheers sue

I guess it just depends on my mood on whether I can stop at one bite or until it is all gone. I usually don't have it around, because I don't usually buy chocolate, but if I come upon it then I will eat a little at a time, but may go back more than once for it.

Well I would not be able to resist, especially if it had been in the fridge for a while first, crunchy, cold chocolate is definately the best.

Considering I gave up sweets for Lent, I think I did really well on Easter. I was surrounded by cakes, cookies and candy but just had 2 cookies, 2 tiny chocolate eggs, and 3 bite-size homemade chocolate peanut butter cups. I'm probably going to make chocolate chunk cookies today though and will end up eating a dozen :)

I can stop eating chocolate whenver I want to. The reason is because I had a really bad experience with chocolate. When my sister was in hospital our hole family was waiting there and so we never acctually got any proper food. The only thing I ate was 2 big slabs of chocolate and coke... I now know that this is not a good mix, especially if they are the only two things in your stomache!
