How much do you typically earn from myLot in a day?

And what sorts of things do you do to increase your earnings? I 'think' I know the basics
, but this is what I do:1) post new discussions
2) answer as many as possible, with 3 to 4 sentences each answer
3) rate answer responses to my discussions
4) select 'Best Response'
5) add pictures to my discussions
What else should I be doing? I typically end up earning very little (4 to 9 cents a day), so it's taking a really long time to get to my next payout (set at a whopping $10!). Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks in advance!

I don't focus on my earnings here, they are just a bonus to the community I enjoy. I only post a new discussion when something is on my mind that I would like to share. When I answer a discussion I only wish to add to the conversation. I say as much as I need to, sometimes its a line, sometimes a couple paragraphs. I rarely rate, since I think the system is rigged anyway. So I only rate really good discussions and responses, or if a friend makes a special request. I am bad at keeping up on rewarding my best responses, I go through every couple of weeks and weed through the mess. I rarely add pics, but when I do they add to the discussion.
I really can't tell ya what else to do. I've been here for about 4 months. Last month I got my first payout...a little over $25. If I can keep it up this way, I can really use the $25 every three or four months:)

I've been working so hard at this that I may consider changing my payout now. I'm supposed to be finding a job, but most places want kids at minimum wage; I'd be willing to do so, as long as I don't have to drive! Currently, I've been running some experiments and have figured out how to get a dollar or more a day; I think my brain will explode but it works for me! Thanks for the response!

Thanks, I did figure it out, although a troll caused all THREE discussions that pertained to my experiment to be deleted, as well as cause me to lose some of my earnings
(I still made payout). Needless to say, if that person pops up on my discussion, I don't answer them nor do I rate them--just too much trouble. I also don't rate single line answers any longer--if they can't take the time to post a few sentences to contribute to the discussion, then why should I rate them?
How is it going, now that you've raised your payout? I don't think I'll make July's payout this time (three months in a row and this month I've had outside issues that are interfering!), but there's always August!

Sorry,I have been on here for over a year, and have only had 1 $10.00 pay-out,but then I mainly only answer questions mostely,I just can't remember most of the ideas I have to put them into discussion form, but I am not here for the money,I just like reacting to many types of discussions, many of those I have started do not get answers either,as they are just not the type of things most people want to answer,so I just keep reading and answering.

I've been on over a year and I'm only expecting my second $10 payout (I'm scheduled on the 15th)
. I'm really not as diligent as I promise myself--life keeps getting in the way!

I'm here for the fun of it, but I usually earn anywhere from 12 to 25 cents a day. Believe it or not this seems to add up quite quickly. I laugh and tell my wife that my income on myLot wouldn't keep my mouse in batteries. My mouse is not a eater so I'm doing ok!

In the last three days, I've earned anywhere from 2 cents to 49 or 50 cents. I'm quite inconsistent--it really depends on my mood.
It just seems to take forever sometimes! I'll just keep at it I guess and see where it takes me this time!

Basically post or start discussions, respond to discussions (i think you'll get more earnings if you put more than 4 sentences).I think some of mylotters who get high earnings respond to as much as 50 topics. One thing i can't do but trying to respond as many as possible. And maybe use of the smileys
will add to your earnings as well.

Thanks Misty--I've found by posting quality responses (two to three paragraphs of intelligent sentences), using myLot code
and having pictures that pertain to the discussion (and have a comprehensive description) help to boost my earnings too. Since I don't have as much free time lately to post to a lot of discussions (I used to average about 20 to 25 a day; I've slowed down considerably in the last couple of weeks), plus I'm not seeing as much quality discussions to post to (a lot of favorite vegetables to cook with, plants in the garden and cat discussions) make it even harder. After August first, I'll have my computer moved and I'll be set to go! Thanks for responding!
