Junk Foods continues to be sold everywhere. Junk Foods contributes to the childhood obesity epidemic and other preventable diseases, and also adds to the garbage crisis with the tons of trash created by the production and consumption of these unhealthy food that are often packed or served in single use plastic materials, so the alternative to these is a tasty and healthy foods like fruits and vegetables which is more nutritional and with a lot of medicinal properties. so we need the urgent need for concerted actions that will protect our young consumers from childhood obesity.

I agree but I too eat junk food sometimes, not alot but some. My kids eat junk food too but not alot. I don't buy alot of junk food and I do buy fruits and vegetable which my kids do eat. It is up to the parent to buy healthy foods to keep in the house and not let the kids eat junk. McDonalds should be an occasional treat not an everyday stop for lunch or dinner. Those single serving sizes are creating so much waste. Everyone should be more concerned about their health and the environment.
