So I took a package of pork chops out of the freezer for dinner tonight, and I have no idea what to do with them. I know that my fellow mylotters will have some tasty ideas. So mylot, what should I make for dinner tonight that uses the pork chops that I took out? And what sides go with them?

Have you ever tried deep fried Pork Chops... OMG they are so good.. I might just go ahead today and buy some and make them... LOL I Do mine very simple and nothing special actually.. Here is what i do... First I get about 2 cups of flour, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of pepper, a slash of season salt... Mix that all together than in another bowl I take about 3 eggs and mix them together.. As I already have Cooking oil in the frying pan warming up.. I usually put in enough to make the chops sink into it.. So you are going to need a big frying pan... Than I will take the pork chops and soak them for a few minutes in the eggs and than take the flour mix and coat the chops with them once they are well coated I put them in the oil and let them cook for at least 10 minutes on each side so I know they are done in the middle... I do check to make sure they are though.. They are very simple to make and they do keep all the juices inside so they aren't hard as rocks when you get ready to eat them... For a side I'd do green beans and mash potatoes... They seem to go go with them... However my husband likes corn so I do make that as well... Me I won't touch them... yuck... LOL This is an idea though.. I hope this helps!!!

If you have a crock pot, put them in there and cover them with a cut-up apple, some applesauce and a bunch of onions. Cook on low all day or if it's late where you are, cook on high for an hour and low the remaining couple of hours. You can also bake them in the oven. If you don't have a roaster, dump all that stuff in a pie plate and cover with foil or put it on foil and seal it up. They're also good fried--pan spray, not grease!--in Worcestershire sauce, garlic and onion salt. Fry enough on one side to almost burn but not quite, then add water and turn them. Repeat for the other side. After you add water the second time, simmer awhile with some onions, green peppers and any other vegetables you like--zucchini, green beans, squash, whatever. A cut-up potato is great to cook with it, too!

My daughter just fixed us pork chops this way last night, and they are so moist and tender! Lightly brown your chops in a skillet then put them in the bottom of a casserole dish. Dump a can or two of cream of mushroom soup on top (mixed with water, whether you need one or two cans depends upon how many chops you are fixing) and let it bake for about 20-30 minutes (depending upon how thick the chops are) at 400 degrees. Make mashed potatoes and use the soup/gravy off the top of the pork chops on your potatoes. We also have corn or another veggie on the side. You can also use cream of chicken or whatever cream soup you like instead of the mushroom.

I actually have a can of crem of mushroom soup at home too. Maybe I will try this one out. I think when I was younger my mom used to make something like that with chicken.

Hi there... Look you can, fry them up with onions and garlic, you baked them, you can grill them, you can boil them, in a little water and salt, until the meat drops off the bone and then stew it up with mixed veges, garlic, onion and thickening, theres lots of options to choose from when cooking anything... Have a go and see what you come up with... Good luck with the chops...
