I just received an email today requesting signatures for the Dalai Lama to open up a dialogue with China. They are trying to help ease the situation in Tibet. Their goal is to get 1 million signatures to take to China in hopes that a discussion will take place. You can read more about it and sign in the link. I know that I am not supposed to post links, but this is something we can do to prevent any more violence in our world. I am also going to post a discussion on this in hopes that it will spread the word. Thanks so much for this discussion, I hope the Dalai Lama will go where he is needed the most to create peace in this world. http://www.avaaz.org/en/tibet_end_the_violence/21.php

I have only heard a few brief news reports on this, winterose. It is indeed tragic. I will read up a little bit and come back for some intelligent discussion later. Thanks for starting this discussion.
