The UK band McFly have recently left their label, Universal Island. It was first mentioned by the Sun but Tom Fletcher of the bands sister has since told us it is true. It is supposed to be a try at getting away from the boyband look the label has forced on them over the years, forcing single releases they have not wanted and not letting them release the best stuff! McFly have also said that their music has matured again, a sound heard on their latest single The Heart Never Lies. The sound is supposed to be more like the album Wonderland.
What is your opinion on this, whether a fan of McFly's right now or not?
Are you worried about them leaving Island?
Are you worried about their slight change in style again?
If you are not a fan, do you think this change of more of a rock sound might interest you?
Any other comments?
