For a starter, here is a discussion about slowcooking and asking for recipes. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1261980.aspx At least its a start. You may also want to try Allrecipes for some ideas. Foodnetwork probably has some too.

One book I love is "Fix It and Forget It" and its sequels. Loads of recipes to choose from. Also, Yahoo Groups has a couple of slow cooker groups I receive regular email from (and you can just search their archives after joining). They are: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/crockpot_recipes/ and http://groups.yahoo.com/group/slowcooker/. There is another good site for recipes here: http://www.slowandsimple.com/. I like soups, stews and roasts in the crock the best. I hope you really enjoy your cooker!

Hi Victoria, You're going to love your new slow cooker. I own three and have used them for 25 years. There are great cookbooks with recipes (even cooking light) both at the bookstore and online. My first Rival crock pot came with an awesome little cookbook. Had a recipe in it for the best potato soup I've ever tasted. The longer you have it, the more creative you will get just with your own recipes. The nice part is that you can use the least expensive cuts of meat and they come out so juicy and tender. Add some veggies, liquid and seasonings of your choice and you have a great meal. Have fun!!! Bonnie
