From the many type of movies that exist, which ones are your most favorite and least favorite? Do you like horror, action, adventure, parodies, marshal arts, comedy, family, or something else? Do you like to watch the movies where you have to do some thinking to understand what is going on?

I really enjoy thrillers and dramas. My least favorite movies are slapstick or toilet humor comedies (which my husband likes).

I am not familiar with slapstick. Can you mention a movie that would be in this genre? I like Japanese animation too. Thanks for the response.

well my fave genres would be comedy, sci-fi movies adapted from comic books like x-men and spiderman, horror movies, thrillers, suspense movies like flightplan, and feel-good ones like garfield. i like some action films too, like swordfish, the italian job, etc.. well i watch movies to be entertained, so when it comes to watching movies where i have to do some thinking, uh, well, i dont really mind, but pls keep the "thinking part" to a minimal level, hehe, thats why i didnt really like zodiac much,(have you seen that one) too much thinking, the way jake gylenhaal tries to solve the crime.

oh and by the way, my least fave ones are action movies that have martial arts in it, or samurai films, and war-themed films, they dont really appeal to me.

I taught Spider-Man was be considered action rather than Sci-fi. I no longer find horror movies to be scary and I have not seen Zodiac. Thanks for the response.

i like movies that have martial arts in it.. i like historical movies too - makes me feel like i am reading a book. i also like movies with wars of the 18th century. i feel they are really soooo brave to fight face to face. unlike now, people shoot each other!

A marshal arts movie that I really enjoyed watching was Rumble in the Bronx starring Jackie Chan. Have you seen it? Thanks for the response.

I'm a sucker for romantic comedies. I also love war and family movies. I'm not into sci-fi and thrillers.
