Americans hated worldwide

These politicians most importantly Mr.Bush has given very strong negative vibes all around the world. When UN said not to go for war they went for it and found nothing in Iraq, they never apologised for that. Yes there are different ways to stop misery like imposing sanctions. Recently they divided a country into two and got their embassy burnt. Why should they interfere and divide it. Lets say they did this in good will but why should they do it in the expensee of their economy. They are only pilling up the hatred and misery against themselves and they dont have any idead about it. Long before americans were very well treated because many countries lived on their protection but now it is all going the wrong way. Now why should they start giving negative signals to Russia by establishing a base nearby when they are talking about friendship and peace.

American overseas policies and military actions have caused a somewhat negative attitude towards the U.S.A. but it is not a hatred for Americans as people. I think the world will give a sigh of relief when Bush ends his term of office and it will be hoped that whoever takes over as President will have a little more insight and understanding.

I am against bush hopefully he ends up his term without causing any devastation. Try asking this outside our country (america) you will get the picture about it. People i asked said for the first term they actually dont know his hidden intentions and the next time again he is president. I hope he doesnt cause any more devastation. I love America

I don't know about that. As an American I see constant hatred on forums like mylot towards America in it's entirety. I always here "you Americans", or "What else would you expect from an American". People hate Americans, and it didn't just start with the Bush administration. People just find it easy to blame world powers for all their problems.

You need to get our facts correct. The Un did not say not to go to war. They pssed 17 resolution telling Iraq to comply with the weapons inspectors and Iraq did not. The first war with Iraq ended in a Cease Fire which Sadam Hussane broke the Cease Fire. The US responce was a result of the UN saying that force could be used. According to the UN inquirey into their Oil for Food Program the countries that opposed the US gong to war held Billions in Oil Credits issued by Sadam and would only be good if he was in power. Some how the world media seems to think that a Country that stands up to a bully is the bad guy while the bully is the victim.

Hi bob, UN opposed America going to war.It all depends upon the persons thinking. I think the force of definition goes like this, Force is something which should be used for peaceful purposes and not for destroying the country and at the last not finding anything in the country (WMD). Force he should have used sanctions against him and his oil economy it worked in iran, korea, etc why not in iraq. Let me give you other fact iraq never fully exploited its oil reserves it had and it provided only meagre amount of it. Now our economy is getting affected because of escalation in oil prices he should have restored and operated it to its full power but he is unable to do it because only few very few resources are tapped. World never opposed when america went to vietnam, subsided unrest in Africa, etc. Why now. What about UK,australia, france, canada why did they reduce troops, why there is no UN peace keeping force in iraq or afghanistan in part of its force.

While I will agree that there is a very negative attitude about the United States and Americans in general, I am not sure that it goes as far as hatred. As far as the Iraq situation, Bush did use the weapons of mass destruction as the reason for the invasion - even though none were found. Now whether or not they were ever there, I do not know. Perhaps they were, perhaps not - though I still have doubts as to this being the only (or even the main) reason for the invasion. I also believe that oil, Saddam Huissien(sp?) and Ossama were all part of the reason for the invasion. I also think it did have something to do with the attacks of 9-11. I do believe that it is time we start to make the Iraqi government responsible for their own, and start to reduce the amount of troops there and our assistance. But at the same time I don't think that we should just pull out cold turkey. There has to be some sort of compromise with this situation. I will admit that Bush has made some shaky and bad decisions while in office, and I do not think he has done as good a job for the American people as he led us to believe he would. I would not vote for him again (even if he could run) knowing what I know now. I also wish I knew then what I know now - I would never have voted for him in the first place. Hopefully whomever is elected next term will be able to do some serious damage control and begin to fix the problems, mistrust, dislike, and negative attitudes that America now faces world wide.

"The UN said..." I quit caring at that point. This is the same UN that doesn't do a thing against several other despots around the world. The same UN that brings pitful efforts to peacekeeping (and plenty of blind eyes with this). The same UN that can go day in and day out hating the country (except of course when the check comes -_-). The same UN that doesn't know genocide when it sees it (Darfur, Rwanda, Congo, Ahmadinejad's remarks), until its far too late.

Hmmm UN was made powerless by Americans. But whatever Americans should do what is best for their country and should not listen to any country cause they are worldpowers, they can attack any country and still no country opposes them, why because they are super powers. UN comprises of many nations and there is something as UN peace keeping force which includes france, Australia, etc.
