Making Money Online - Real Or Scam????????????

March 19, 2008 7:32am CST
I have been out of work for the past 6 months due to a troublesome pregnancy and decided to try and earn some pennies from home. Over the past two months I have looked at online data entry jobs through hundreds of different websites and yet to find a genuine one still. Is there such a thing as a 'genuine' home based data entry job for people like me who would like to put their administrative skills to the test???? Why are people still falling for the pyramid based schemes that advertise as a 'genuine data entry from home' vacancy and charge you anywhere from £20-£30 for so called 'training materials' only when you receive them, it's materials to repost the same ad you paid to sign up for in the first place?? How do they STILL manage to find innocent victims to fall for their trap and which websites are REALLY genuine??

any data entry site which is a freelance site that ask you to pay money before you start working is a scam and you should be careful for them. i have a link that is safe not scam, pay through paypal and check. it requires you to download a tickerbar and you make money while online and offline provided youR pc is ON. infact members call it fortune link. but membership is limited. http://greenhorse.com/join_now.ghc?r=174425396 it is amazing and a money spinner. good luck.

Well, it is difficult, very difficult to differentiate between real online money-making schemes and scams. It is quite hard. hwoever, it all depends of how much work you want to do. I know for sure money doesn't grow on trees. At least, I do understand the earning programme here on myLot™. One has to really put in a lot of effort participating in discusion to raise a mere dollar. That is work! Unlike a situation where one comes and asks you to just sign uop, sit back and expect to earn bucks.

Hello! I know what you mean about being an innocent victim. I was one for tooooo long! I have been working for 2 different companies from my home now thanks to a website I found called www.sohojobs.org. You can apply to companies that are hiring people to work from their homes. You will be able to apply for administrative assistant jobs, data entry, customer service,etc... and work from your home :o) I think this will help! Best wishes~ Teri K (id:au8tkat) "Working from home thanks to sohojobs.org"

that's a good question.i myself have been trying to get some type of online work and have had no luck, one thing that you would think most people would do would be to look up the company through the BBB,if its a legit company it will be listed there.

I have been making a little bit of money here and there online for a couple of years now, mostly at gpt sites and such that take forever. i have finally found something that if i apply myself i can make a regular income from. it is associated content. you can write about anything almost and they will pay you for your article. for example i read an article about a new diet in a magazine......i basically took what i learned and rewrote it and made 5 bucks for the article. you can write about anything you know. it needs to be at leat 400 words tho. for exampel i bet you could write an article about your pregnancy and get paid for it. give it a shot. by the way of course it is free to join!

I got tricked twice by the pyramid scheme, one was paid surveys and the other was data entry. If you are looking for a job, there is a new company my friend is involved in who are currently looking for people to work online from home. If you want more information on the position and how it works or any other questions for me, just send me an e-mail (ihendo21@yahoo.com) or you can add me as a friend and message that way. Have a nice day!

If you want to do data entry, there is always the freelancing sites that could give you some work. Also, survey sites and sites like myLot can help you get some $$.

I know what you mean about the scams. We fall for them because we get desperate and then they know how to market to us. I have looked and looked for a home based business that would be in my best interest. I have finally found one created by a woman who has such creative ideas on how to help change the world and make money doing it. And, it's Free to join. It's a great idea. You might like it. My friends and I are earning money only through our blogs. My friends got more money than I do hehehe.. They do have established blog accounts and that gives them more opportunity. Whereas I, I only have one earning blog account. Plus here in mylot and other paying sites. To your scam concerns, there really are those kind of things online, no doubt about that. The only thing you could do is stay alert and inform about the site before spending too much time with it. It might really be a waste of time after all. That's what I do. I research anything about the site first before wasting my whole time.

I never found any data entry jobs on line either, but I am a writer so I do get paid for research work , and ghost writing for websites. I also sell my articles when I can find sites to buy them.

Some money making websites are fake and some are genuine. I believe those sites that are promising huge amount of money are fake, but still some people give it a shot because you never know it might be real. I think it is really human nature to have some hope and try out on things that might give them instant money, like lottery or casino for instance.

Hello and god morning. A god question you asked. I feel that people want to believe they can actually make money from those websites. I think it is a psychic thing. If you see the same site or post so many times you end up believe it. So You end up typing and pay. But will wake up to the truth. I like you started to look for a way to earn money Online but I would not or never pay in order to earn. I looked for a way to make money without spending any. And I did fount it and Now I make money, however, I do not get rich, but I do get some extra dollars to my budget. And that is god for me considering you do not pay for it. Have a happy easter

I made $1.13 in less than 30 hours here with minimal effort, but the traffic I drew to my other blog has brought me another $3 in that amount of time. If you have something to say and will put in the time and effort to monetizing a blog you can make some money.
