When it comes to music, does age matter?

What I mean is, do you stop liking a song because it is a few years old? Or do you stop liking an artist who hasn't had a new album in a while? Sometimes I hear people say, I don't like that song- it's so old. But they liked it when it was new. Why is that? I know tastes change, and some music is trendy. But is the fact that it is a few years old a good enough reason not to like a song?

No I certainly don't stop listening to a song because it is old. Most of the music I listen to is old (some of it very) To tell you the truth actually there is very little modern music that I like, this is definitely true for four mainstream music. I guess some people just have to keep up to date (and I am not one of those)

No music is universal. A good song is a good song. Nomatter how old or new. You may tire of a song and find you like it again later. Music is one of the only languages all people can agreeon. Hello "80's" lol

If I like the song, I don't care how old it is. I still like some songs from the 1950's, even though I was born in the 1960's. I thank my parents for exposing me to their music. There are several bands that I like that haven't put out CD in years but I will still listen to them.
