I am having problems with finding an easy typical pie crust recipe. Do you make your own pie crust? Would you mind sharing your recipe with me?

SIMPLE PIE CRUST
2/3 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
5-6 tbsp. water
Combine flour and salt in large mixing bowl. Cut shortening into flour with pastry blender or two knives until particles are size of small peas. Add water one tablespoon at a time, mixing lightly with fork after each addition. (Use only as much water as is needed to allow mixture to press together). Divide into two balls. Roll onto floured surface. Fold in half for ease in putting into pie pan. Makes 1 double crust.

Hi Lilybug.
I would like to thank you for your recipe. It was very detailed and I'm going to give it a try, hopefully I can get it to be nice and flakey. I am marking you as my best response today. Although I didn't get many responses, yours was the best and I don't think I can get any better than that!
Thanks for your help and have a great day:)

I like to make a short pie crust, and I have no recipe, apart from saying that I use about two-thirds margarine to one-third flour. Mainly it's a guessing game, and never have I had a bad pie crust, so I would suggest 9oz. flour to 6oz. margarine, a pinch of salt, and a little cold water to bind.
Brightet Blessings.
