i recently saw an article about people in China only being allowed to have 2 children per household ,and there were 2 family's and one was fined for having a third child ,and the other one was imprisoned for 6 months and fined for having a 4th child , so i was telling my daughter about it and my daughter asked me what would happen if a family was to have Triplets or Quadruplets ,well i did'nt have an answer for her so i figured i'd ask on my lot and see what answers i came up with for her ................

haha, this is very interesting for you maybe, actually one of my high school teachers has just gave birth to triplets,of course there is no fine for them,on the countrary her family received money form the city gov. coz you know raising three children can be hard. we implemented one family one child policy in 1980s,families in town can have one child, families in rural area can have two childern, this is because we have two many people in China and the Chinese people have a traditional opinion that if you have more children esp sons, you will have more felicity. but Minorities are exempt from this policy, they can have as many children as they want,so minorities wont extinct.

Twins, triplets or other multiple births cannot be helped; they are exempt from the fines. The fines kick in if you already have one child (in the cities) or 2 children (in the rural areas) and have another. Also, ethnic minorities are exempt from the limits.
