I have two lovely kitties named Turn and River. They are sisters. River loovvess to give me kisses all over my face and hands. Turn likes to just be near me. They both come under the covers when I'm going to sleep. They will either curl up near my feet, or lay right next to my head. Sometimes, I feel that their love is just tooooo much! I love coming home to them. They are always happy to see me. What about your kitties?

My parents have a 12 year old cat that still acts this way. He gets very excited when I come for visits, and I know that he sits on my mother's lap every night!

Your fur babies sound awesome. My cat Meeca loves it when I come home. She runs from window to window, watching what door I'm coming in, and she'll bound up to me and flop over, just like a puppy! Cats are so amazing.

Wow! It sounds like you have two very furry children! They sure love you. I have two kitties as well, Phoebe and Sam. Phoebe I adopted from a local shelter when she was six weeks old. In turn ever since that day she adopted me as her mother; she comes when I call her, she will only sleep with me or on my side of the bed, and she treats me in such a manner that she wouldn't dare treat anyone else, it's too funny. Now that she's pushing 10, she's far less rambunctious than when she was a youth, but she will occasionally get into my face while I'm laying in bed and give me kitty-kisses. Other than that, if my face is ever at her level she will brush up against me and purr like crazy. She will always be my baby girl! Sam, on the other hand, is a 3 year old male that I commonly say "came with the house" my husband and I just recently bought. We would frequent the house, which was and hour and a half away, trying to make our decision to purchase it or not, and there was always this scrawny, rather homely looking cat hanging about. But darn if he wasn't the most loving cat ever. It was summertime and reaching 110 degree temperatures. I was so saddened to leave the poor thing there without any food or water, I begged my husband to let me take care of him. So I brought him home, named him Sam, and gave him proper food and grooming. May I just say that his is, almost 2 years later, the most appreciative cat ever! He absolutely loves to be near us, comes when his name is called, he loves to cuddle, and sometimes even drools in all of his excitement. With all of his love and good food to top it off, he is now extremely handsome, with a thick black coat, fluffy mane, and beautiful eyes. The white markings on him make it look as though he's wearing a tuxedo. He is very precious. Both of my kitties are also very patient with my 4 year old son, which is quite a trait for cats. He loves to pick them up and hug them, and they just dangle there in his arms like stuffed animals. They would never admit that they like it! Animals know when their loved and they give us so much love in return too! It makes me happy to hear about other pet owners and their special relationships with their pets, or as I like to think of them, furry family members.

Thank you so much for your response! It sounds to me like you have two little loving kitties, as well! When I visit my parents, they have a cat that was mine when I was growing up (When I moved out, I wouldn't dream of taking him away from the home he grew up in.) He drools and purrs and goes crazy when I come by for a visit. Animals truly are amazing!!!
