No, I have not been able to fly on Concorde because air fares on it were very expensive indeed. When it flew of to its destinations like New York and Barbados some people found of its departure time and so they could go to Heathrow Airport to watch it take off. It was the most amazing and the fastest aircraft that was available to travel on however its passengers had to be very wealthy. I love to travel and when I fly I can only afford to travel in economy class. I got ungraded once on my way home from the Maldives and that was a nice experience. It was sad when I got on a normal aircraft and everyone was being given a newspaper. On the front page was the terrible news of the crash on Concorde. I think that awful event that stopped Concorde flying ever again.

I do like concord very much, i have pictures of it, may be one day i will put them on my Blog. Concord was such a good flight but i think it was not meant for the middle class only the rich aristrocats can afford it. As usual you gave a wonderful response thank you.

I never flew on Concord but when I lived in London I would see one every day on its approach to London Heathrow Airport. I remember the final day of Concord when 3 of them flew in together. They were flying much lower than usual and passed in line over the rooftops of London. It was an unforgettable sight.

No I didn't fly the Concord.
During most of the SST's service era it was not a good travel value for me. Plus I never had a need to fly to London or Paris in 3½ hours. I would much rather get a 1st class seat/bed on one of those 15-18 hour flights like LAX-AUCK,LAX-SYD,LAX-BKK!

It was a privelege for the urban class, i heard a stock broker from london saying this. I go to newyork in the morning and from there i go to thailand and later i return to london from there. I dont know whether he said thailand or so but this is his regular routine.
I guess it was for people of that kind.
I would happily board Lufthansa 1 st class rather than affording Concord.
