Is your Recycling Habits and Annoyance to your family?

Im the type of person that sees Recycling as a small, easy way I can contribute to our environment and get chills thinking how fast our trash can fills if I didnt. I do not think Im radical, share your opinions, but I do recycle all cheese wrappers, every bit of paper that has no more use left, mail envelopes, bottles. Sometimes I'll even collect bottles from the trash at our local library, on top at least, or our laundry wastebasket filled with hefty detergent bottles, or a bottle laying on the curb outside my car. I have even considered collecting bottles and recycles from the side of the road with my kids, something my aunt did with me when i was about 14, so I wouldn't be embarrassed. i actually admire our local 'BUM' who scavenges through the trash of Main Street all the way down to the other side of town, we need more of them, it's gotta go somewhere! My boyfriend finds it very annoying because he does not like my bags under the cupboard, which I only have one to use filling up and they fill up quick. I started sending recycles to the local drop off every other day just to relieve him of his misery. Im sure his sisters found it annoying too, whenever Im over his parents I will collect cans and bottles from their trash, usually when nobody is around, or if its right on top, because in Jersey its mandatory so why not. I do not see what the big point is, yes its some work, but read about Sweden and all the lengths their country has gone to in order to recycle, here is nothing. Sweden is like my role model country because they are more progressive with these things, and hey, IKEA! I just see it as if I can help my kids future while still around in some way Im gonna do and and thats it. Do you have the same troubles with your family or friends?
