Suggestions to gain more referrals?

I am not very good at getting referrals to sites. Besides putting my referal link in my email signiture and putting flyers and links on my blogs, website, and myspace page, is there something else I could do to gain more referals to mylot? I am still not to sure how to get referals other than this. Any help would be appreciated....so far I only have 3 referals and most of them are not too active on mylot!

try signing up at those free traffic sites like traffic swarm or get ref, maybe you can have more referrals through that method.

I had not thought of that. I will try it and see. So far, even though I have put the flyers on my sites, I am not able to gain many!
