Banner Trouble

ok here's my problem, i've made a banner using GIMP. i use "photobucket for image hosting. so how do i make it so that when someone clicks on the banner it goes to a website? i've been through a dozen tutorials and i get the basic concept. i've tried different combinations with photobucket's HTML codes and the URL address but i just can't get it to work. is it because i'm using photobucket? someone please help.

No, you just need to know the html to attach the picture to a URL. You need to put a href=yourwebsiteURL with a at the end (I can't do it here or it'll show the command, and not how to DO it) and follow that with the src code from photobucket (img src=) between the and finish off with a with/a between them. Basically, you have to give the URL to go to, then attach the URL of the photo to it.
