What would you do if your family was racist?

What would you do if you were white and your whole inner family (parents+siblings) were always making racist jokes?
They have more reason to than others- I lived in Zimbabwe and we had to leave or we had fear for our lives. And yes, the people were black. But that does not mean one race is better than the other.
What I'm asking is, how would you deal when they made a racist joke or insulted a black person on TV?

We're kinda the opposite. My parents are from India and they're very religious - and their very racist against english people / christians / jews / americans / israelis. I just have to let them not influence me at all. I do tend to get fed up of it all because they make sweeping statments that tends to characterise the entire world - sweeping statements which I know are wrong.
Thankfully neither me nor my sister have picked up any of it.

well for me , i know my parents wont admit that their racist but they kinda are , like i remember when i was going to grade school and they would always ask me " Well is your teacher black or white? " like that matters ...i guess cause they grew up in those segregation times ..but my great great grandmother was white soo im like " What the ???.." to me a racist joke is a joke ...yeah the say the n word or whatever but every race gets picked on , it really doesnt effect me and im black
