I was just on my AOL, just about to check my mail when I noticed this article. http://news.aol.com/story/_a/boyfriend-charged-in-stuck-to-toilet/20080320074609990001 (Wow that is annoying having to type all that out, can't wait to reach 500 posts so I can just copy and paste!) Anywho, she sat on the toilet for 2 years. Her boyfriend said that should refused to come out, so he would bring her food and water and tell her to come out. She would just tell him, 'maybe tomorrow'. When he finally got help for her, after her sitting there for 2 years (why did he wait so long?!), she had developed many sores on her bottom causing her to stick to the seat. They had to use a crobar to remove the seat and the woman is in the hospital. My question is, why the heck was she even in the bathroom in the first place? Why not get up? And one more thing, if you know there is something wrong with your girlfriend, or anyone for that matter, GET THEM HELP! Her boyfriend is being charged for this, and you know what, I think he should be. He was the only one that could have helped her, and he didn't.

Well first of all, something was obviously wrong with this woman. What that problem is I don't know. Her boyfriend waited too long to get help. Sure, he brought her food and water but she needed mental help. Wow..........that is deep! This is why I give thanks for my mental state because there are thousands among thousands of people who are suffering mentally. I feel bad for the woman and the boyfriend........well I don't know what's going to happen with him. He will probably be charged with neglect or something.

He probably will, but it all depends on whether he was psycologically unable to understand the degree of danger she was in.

I heard this on the radio last week. I dont know the whole story... I think he should be held responsible but to let her sit there for that long, maybe he has some issues himself. I dont want to say if he should necessarily be charged or not but I think they both need to get some help.

I agree, there has to be something wrong with him for not getting her help. But if there isn't, he should definitly be held accountable.

Is this for real? One of my sisters tried to relate the story to me yesterday but I told her it was just some other nut case joke. Well in my mind it had to be. Now your the second person that I hear this from. Ahh well.....I dont know what to say but....I guess there was another bathroom for him to use. I think they both need help.
