Do messy Cemeteries bother you?

messy cemetary plot - This Grave is littered with dead flowers and Garbage!
What Purpose does this mess serve?

Cemeteries littered with plastic flowers, and looking like Garbage Laden Land-fill-Sites are a dime a dozen here in Texas. People obviously haven't learned, that the soul or energy body of their deceased friends and relatives, does not hang around the Grave, but moves on the a Higher Dimension be with God.Their religion does not (or will not) explain this to them. So whats the purpose of these cheap lookalikes that pose as Flowers and appear like Garbage 3 weeks after being Planted (on the gravestone?) I'm not sure, but I'd bet the farm, that the Catholic Church (in It's Infinite Search for Money) gets a kickback, in some form or another, on these Decidedly Decadent Decorations.

Around the areas where I live and the Cemeteries which are around are very well looked after. There upkeep seems to be very important and walking through one of the oldest ones and seeing graves of many years ago being still cared for is something you take away when you leave as you realise your loved ones where there resting place is, is still worth looking after. As for your statement about the soul not being there, I personally for quite sometime would not have looked at it that way, but went to the gravsites of my loved ones for as long as that grieving process was taking place, then one day it just stopped and I remember them without having to have that "contact"! But I must say I am very much against the plastic flowers that have been left and have seen better days but then again I have never really liked plastic flowers! A real one grown in your own garden is my way of doing it even if it is only one. I do see your point though!

Your loved ones do not rest in a Grave! They are living still in a Higher dimension ! its very possible to contact your loved ones. Ask them to come to you in a dream and they will definately appear! Then you can ask them anything! Yes its interesting to see the old tombs and the inscriptions in the stone. My wife enjoys a good Grave-yard as long as its clean and tidy. The messy plastic flowers bother her too.

It does bother me greatly. Here in Ohio, cemetaries are kept pretty tidy and I'm glad. I think if there were messes and plastic flower decorations, litter, etc.. I would be writing a letter to the keeper of the cemetary. However, I'm sure it is different in Texas. Its a shame that the Church would get a kickback out of it.

The only reason a poorly kept cemetary bothers me is because I think its disrespectful...For me personally, my loved ones ARENT "there"..they've gone back to being part of the Universal All and all thats in the ground is the "car they used" during their last life BUT for my kids for example, visiting the cemetary is suppose to be a nice experience and seeing a sloppy mess just doesnt cut it....For many ppl visiting the graves of loved ones is the ONLY way they can feel connected still to the ones that have passed on so IMO when a cemetary isnt kept neat and tidy its quite a shame and seriously disappointing

Well all I know is It depends to there love one or relatives if they want to put something on the grave yard as far as I know it was clearly say that the body will stay and decomposed but the soul will go the where he belongs. The church did not say anything about it stay there. And they do that(the relative/ love one to show how much they care for there love one who just pass away here in our country there are care taker ho will do the cleaning afterwards they will not leave the flowers the to be a garbage. If you are upset in what you saw in your cemetery then don't blame it to other I want to make it clear that the church is nothing to do with this they did not get money about it of course it's there choices if they want there love not to buried or cremate it's there choice. I'm sorry to tell this but here in our country it was clearly say that the soul will go to where he belongs to God our creator.

Yes, it will definetely bothe me if it is in messy condition. Luckily our cementery is well taken care of by the caretaker. It is so clean that you don't feel like you are in the cementery compound. Well done to the caretaker.

Well, it's a good thing that the people where we visit our cemetery is well educated and respectful enough that they don't litter any trash. What pisses me off however are those people who steals flowers that are left and tries to resell them. There are also people who steals anything that are left as an offering. This really bothers me greatly considering we are a Christian country, however it's also understandable because of the increasing poor people.
