oops, stuffed that post up, I hadn't finished typing, not sure what happened. Anyway, as I was saying, I am finally pregnant, I had almost given up on the whole idea of having a second child, and now it has finally happened. My first child is 7 years old, but the feelings of nausea, frequent visits to the toilet and being emotional are all coming back to me - aargh, what was I thinking! - just kidding, I'm actually looking forward to the whole pregnancy thing because at least this time I know what to expect. My emotions at the moment are just going crazy, had one phone call yesterday (complaint about our noisy bird) and just could not stop crying (totally not like me). For all those mums that have had more than one child - is it true that the second child is easier. I didn't have a good time when in labour the first time around, so I'm hoping this one will be a bit easier.

you will do okay try to think positive of your self. you will do just fine. I remember for me it was my legs they got so big that I was scared and I had to walk without shoes (smile) try to relax. have your husband massage your shoulders a little it will help remove the pressure and try to smile more and be relax. You did it once so you will do it again. have some courage i use to drink the largest size of orange juice and my boyfriend got mad and said no one should buy that. because after two days it was all gone. then he said if that's what make you going coz you women are so crazy when you are pregnant. then i had test for ice cream. just imagine the effect on me. I trust that you can focus your mind to something positive and let go of your fear. and remember to pray because every thing start with God.

hey if you want I can add your wish to my morning prayers and regular daily prayers. I hope for you to have your kid. Again try not to think about things that make you upset. it will be better to hang on with your buddies here at mylot than have some one upset you. If you get angry call hang up the phone don't take the call because it will not help you explain to the person that you can not take their call because you are busy. listen to very soft music too and rest enough. Good luck I'm waiting for the update. MY KID IS FIVE and i have other kids living with me I guess I have digest enough noise around me (laughter).

I found out earlier on during the week. I told my mum after telling my husband, because she was concerned about me - I had been sent home from work sick. I told my dad after I had the pregnancy confirmed by my doctor. They are both happy, this will be grandchild number 4. They are also happy that my son will no longer be an only child.

Hey, congratulations joycey! :D Your being pregnant again after 7 years is really something to be happy about! I can only imagine how excited you and your family is with the coming baby. You were asking if the second pregnancy is easier than the first? It depends really. My mom used to tell me while I was pregnant with my first to enjoy my pregnancy. She told me that the first is always the best pregnancy. I didn't really quite know why. When I got pregnant with my second child, that was when I fully understood what she had meant. What made the second pregnancy harder than the first is the fact that you already have a child with you who needs your attention, too. My first born was only one year and 3 months when I got pregnant again. At her age, she was still very much dependent on me and I couldn't take the liberty of sleeping all I wanted as I was privileged to when I was pregnant with her. Consider yourself lucky that your child is pretty much dependent already and requires less attention from you. Aside from already having a child as a minor "difficulty" (so to speak) during your second pregnancy, everything else will be smooth sailing for you've been through it before. You already know how it feels and what to expect. This is beacause you've "Been there, done that!" :D Have a healthy pregnancy! Enjoy! :)
