Fleeing shoplifter forgets son

This guy stole form a supermarket and then made a quick getaway only to leave his son on the supermarket that he robbed. Police in the southern Dutch town of Kerkrade said they managed to contact the thief via the boy, but he had refused to return and collect his son. The man told officers to get hold of the youngster's mother instead. I am not sure whether I should laugh or not but I pity the son having to put up with such a father. What a shame!
