My Uncle Died

I just got through responding to other posts for my previous discussion, but I also just got a call from my mom. He had the MRI last night and it showed no brain activity. So they took him off the ventilator around 6am this morning, and about 30 minutes ago he passed away. My Aunt is doing well, and so are my cousins. They are holding up pretty well. It's a good to know he is no longer in pain, and that he is in Heaven. We have all the faith in the world the Lord could have healed him, but we know sometimes God chooses not to. It isn't lack of faith, it is just His will. I thank all who have said prayers and been such an encouragement. In times of grief it is nice to know who your friends are. Knowing I have such wonderful mylotters to share with is reassuring. Something good will come out of this. Everything happens for a reason, even if I don't see it now. Once again, thank you for your support. I have received almost all good words from you guys, and I hope you know I'm here for you all too.

I express my deep sympathy for your loss. It looks like your uncle was rather a close relative of your family and you were pretty concerned with his well being during his illness. I feel this is the support that helps a person to prepare himself for his life in heaven. After all, in the very last minute he gets to know that his/her near and dear ones are just standing by his/her side and everything around him/her is just going fine. Regarding pains/illness etc.

With deepest sympathy.... Last Goodbye There were no words Exchanged that day You just simply, softly Slid away. I looked into your eyes and knew I longed to say "I love you" But trembling lips And a quivering heart Kept those words Two worlds apart I did my best Not to cry So I couldn't even say "Goodbye" So there were no words Exchanged that day... You just simply, softly slid away. In memory of your Uncle..

I like what you said, 'help support others in the family.' I really want to do that. With such a large family I know that I'll be needed to do that.

I am sorry to hear about your uncles passing. I will keep your family in my thoughts. I don't mean to make this response short, but I am really bad at knowing what to say in these types of situations.

Hi, Ourdew. My previous discussion was just yesterday, so I didn't give much time for people to respond. Everything happened so quickly that I can't believe it was just yesterday.

I am new to your discussion of your situation, AmbiePam, but I would just like to say that I am truly sorry for your loss. I will also include you and your family in my thoughts and prayers that your grieving will not be too painful. We are constantly losing loved ones, it seems, and it is something that we never take for granted.

So true. We think it will never happen, or that it is a long way off, but it truly isn't. Thank you for your compassion.

I'm sorry, I really am. I am not too good with this kind of news. I tried helping and thought maybe there was a solution and a better ending...Add in the fact I tried facing it with some optimism too and without really considering the other side of things... I was wrong on multiple levels. It happens... May your uncle rest in peace. I hope your aunt and you are doing well too. Live on a little stronger for yourself and your uncle.

Programer, You have been very supportive. I think out of anyone you combined optimism with reality in a way that was hopeful, yet comforting. I am truly glad to have you as my friend.

I am so sorry that this happened. Isn't faith such a wonderful thing. Even in hard times like what you are going through now you have God on your side. I hope that things get better and that you and your family are comforted by your faith in this trying time.

I send you my sincerest condolences AmbiePam for you and your family at this terribly sad time. Yes it is said that it is Gods will, but sometimes it is hard to accept that his will can seem so cruel. All the best to you all.Take care.
