How can I get more publicity and more hits on my website

I sell handmade occasion cards for graves and memorials and am struggling at the moment finding free or cheap publicity to get customers to my site.
I advertise on all forums I go on and have specifically joined some bereavement forums any ideas please would be greatly appreciated

You can go to sites where you can submit your website for free like traffic exchange sites, freetraffic sites, etc.
I of several sites. If you would like I could give you some of them.

thanks for the suggestions can I just ask what exactly the traffic exchange sites do? sorry if i sound really stoooopid lol but am pretty new to all of this. thanks again. Lucy
