My mother, daughter day and Easter Shopping.

Today was nice, I went with my daughter to go get my hair cut and spend the day together.
Well, when we got to the hair cutting place, there was a 20 minute wait, no problem, I told the lady we were going to get something to eat, but we would be back and I signed in on their list.
We went to eat at subways. Man is that expensive! $6.19 for a combo meal! 
I swear things were so much cheaper 3 years ago. I grossed my daughter out when I put raw spinach on my sandwich. lol I got double Turkey with lettuce, tomato, spinach, black olives and pickles, mayo, mustard, salt & pepper. WOW was that ever good! My daughter got a tuna sub.
Went back to the hair place and the lady took and washed my hair and conditioned it. That stuff smelled awful! lol I don't know what conditioner she used, but I didn't like the smell. lol Anyway, I LOVE my new hair cut. It is shorter and healthier now.
Shopped around for a few things and my daughter out of the blue tells me she doesn't want Easter Candy! She decided she wanted this adorable purse she found so I agreed. lol Hey she is 25 so if she don't want candy, that's ok with me.
She is on a diet and I am trying to stay on mine so bad. lol My hand wanted to pick up the reese's peanut butter cups I saw on sale and I said no and walked away. YEA Me. 
Instead I got chocolate yogurt. I sure hope that tastes good. lol I did get 18 eggs so we can hard boil some for Easter as normal, just not dying them this year.
Well, just to let you know some purses at Wal-Mart are $5 they even have TINKERBELL.
I got a nice white purse haven't bought a purse in a year, time for it. lol
Bath Towels are 2 for $7 so I got two. They are so soft!
Then we came home. I didn't want to spend the day out because of my back and it was hurting, but my daughter and I haven't had a day like today in a long time. MONTHS.
I hope you all had as nice of day as I did.

Why don't you suggest it to her. You can do it once a month if that's all she can do. It is actually the thought that makes us want to do it. Quality time together

That sure does sound like a great day Sweety! My lovely friends took me to hospital today to get my accupunture and then to a shop we all love going to where everything costs £1! The kids were on holiday so they looked after them when I was having my treatment and gave them money to spend in the shop! When we came home, my lovely friend got the kids to her house to give them their chocolate eggs for easter! I came in and lay down as my back was aching by then! It was a really nice day specially cos we were with my lovely friends whom my kids have adopted as their grandparents! If you are reading this weemam - thank you so much and we love you!

It sounds like you had a wonderful day with your daughter, I really hope that me and my daughter have wonderful days like that when she gets older. I do not have this with my mum, I cannot remember the last time my mum and I ever had time as mother and daughter and went out shopping for the day. You should do it more often now you have done it once, make it into a regular thing. Today I have not had such a good day, me and 2 of my children have had some kind of tummy bug, I have been ok, but they have slept on and off pretty much all day. Im hoping that they will be ok for easter, they would be really upset if they could not eat their easter eggs! Have a lovely easter.

Awwwww poor babies, I hope they are up and feeling better tomorrow.
I hope you and your kids can do this when they get older. My daughter and I do this, but she has a new boyfriend and work picked up for her, so she has gotten a lot busier. lol
We use to go eat lunch every 2 weeks, last time we did this, it was around Christmas, so that's why I said it was months, as 3 months is a long time. lol
I was just happy she was off today so we could do that.
