Messiah - Known as Jesus of Nazareth, is the central figure of Christianity. He is commonly referred to as Jesus Christ, where "Christ" is a Greek-derived title meaning "Appointed One" which corresponds to the Hebrew-derived "Messiah".

Initially meant any person who was appointed by a prophet of God. In Christianity, the Messiah is Jesus. In other words he is a messenger to the God.
