Do you think defeated also make you happiness?

When I was a child, I think success can make person happiness. Now I think defeated make more happy than the success. Maybe some people have a question for me,or maybe you will think a chinese sentence the defeat is mother of the seccess. But I think defeat is next seccess ready!

Be honest, I never like to be defected in any thing I do. But if you are taking about failure, yes I can take it positively. Without failure, we will never know the hardship and proper step to success. We only gain success through failure.

A positive attitute is to take defeat as a footstep to success. Both chinese proverb and your sentence are correct. This will be a factor for motivation .
