Yes, I said "6" more weeks. Not until the end of tax season, but until my after-tax VACATION!!!!!
Last year was the first year we planned a vacation for right after tax season. We went on a cruise with a bunch of friends. It was awesome! This year us and one other couple (one of my closest friends) are going to Key West the first week in May. I can't wait!!! Every week I get a little reminder on my cell phone and calendar of how many weeks I have before we go.
How often do you plan a special vacation? It is just you and family or is it friends also?

Vacations are always nice to have, but sometimes you need a vacation just to recover from the vacation.
I try to take one vacation a year. I go to Florida where I have a brother and a sister that live about 30 miles apart. My brother lives closest to the beach, so I usually stay with him.
I have a vacation planned for June, so I hope to get to go again this year. Last year when we went it was my nephews wedding that we attended.

Family vacations are great. WE have at least 2 family reunions to go to every year, some years it's 3. Getting away is always good - even when it's just a weekend.
