Are You Shy?

Do you shy away from meaningful or otherwise deep conversations? Any subject or topic can be a meaningful conversation. It all depends on the parties discussing them. Do you try to start meaningful discussions or do you like to just talk about the first thing that pops into your head? What do you like to talk about?

Shy me? no no way. I am far from shy. i can and will talk about anything. i like to talk about just about anything. i do prefer to talk about topics that are near and dear to my heart. like family, children, relationships, faith, and life in general. but i can sit down and have a conversation about cake if you wanna!! LOL

I never met a cake I didn't like......hehehehe My absolute fave is - bakery type birthday cake with white icing...there's just nothing so good as a good birthday cake made from a terrific bakery. Homemade? I love Nutty Nellie (it's in the cookbook). And I love Chocolate cake with oh - that icing with nuts and coconut....can't remember the name. Also love the strawberry cake (in the cookbook). It's a fave too.

I have to be in the right mood to have a meaningful conversation and at the right time and place. I also judge whether the people I'm with are receptive. I don't like to share a whole lot of deeply personal stuff though, but ideas and opinions are great conversation. I used to say the first thing that popped into my head, but try to think before I speak nowadays.... ...whit

My dad always used to tell me to take my conversations through the three gates of gold. If I said whatever I wanted to say in my head and visioned the statement going through the first set of gates, take it to the next set of gates and say it again (in my head). If it makes it through the next set of gates, go to the third. If it goes through the third set with no problem, then, it was good enough to say outloud. Whew - by the time I did all that I usually forgot what I was going to say. LOL My dad was a pretty cool dude.

"Shy" I'm not, I happen to be very outgoing. I like to enjoy meaningful conversations with likeminded people. We all have something to share:=) Great Post!

Yea Stiffler, every now and again I have a pretty good moment or two. They're rare, but, when it happens I hold on to it and take it for all it's worth. LOL
