Well after our "spring" weather Friday afternoon/evening and Saturday morning Buster my beagle is having a field day. I did not have so much fun though. I had to go out and use the snowblower to clear my driveway etc. Well as it had rained prior to snowing it was slush and the snowblower did not work very well. So some good old elbow grease and a shovel were called to service. I sure got a great cardio workout to say the least. Now we ened up getting 6 to 7 inches in my area which is about 25 miles North of The Minneapolis International Airport where the official weather reports come from. They say we set a record amount of snowfall for March 21. At the Airport thwey recorded 3.6 inches which is the most snow ever to fall on March 31. My daughter got close to a foot and nearly 7 inches here. Anyhow it warmed up today and things started to melt already. Buster is running knee deep in his favorite toy thing so all are happy. So how's things in your neck of the woods?

I am in Nebraska and it was wonderful yesterday with a high of almost 60. I wore a light coat instead of a winter one. I hope tomorrow no snow is expected as I have the long drive home. HOpe Buster is done having fun until next November.

That is about how much rain we got earlier in the week. I am not sure which I would rather have, half a foot of snow or half a foot of rain. It is in the 50's and sunny today. Most of the rain here has dried up since the rain. I am glad it is warming up and starting to melt for you guys.

Well I thought spring was finally here as we had two days in a row in the 50s, and I was even outside turning soil, dreaming of planting.
It was 40* when I woke up this morning, then gradually went down a degree or two throughout the day, and we had a mix of sleet off and on all afternoon. I'm trying to stay warm with an afghan on my lap and sipping a cup of hot tea.
This sucks ...
Still, I'm glad I'm not in MN anymore. I was in Big Lake and Zimmerman for a couple of years, been gone for two now.

I can't wait to get out back and start turning soil and trimming tress, rasberry bushes, grape vine, and the flowers etc. My wifes boss lives in Zimmerman and I had rented a cabin on Big Lake way back in the mid 70's. Small world isn't it? I still love the weather here. But being a Minnesotan I have the right to complain and whine about it as well.
