Why don't we have an 'inbox' and 'outbox' in our message system? It's very confusing when you're trying to find something, and you see your own msgs to other members all mixed up with incoming msgs.
Also, when I go back to look at a msg I sent, why doesn't it tell me who I sent it to?
I sent a msg to someonen several days ago and he hasn't responded, so I was going to send another one, in case he didn't get the first one for some reason.
Well lo and behold, when I look at the msg to get the name of the recipient, there's nothing there!
I decided to look at other msgs that I haven't rec'd a response to, and the same thing - no name of who I sent it too. How bizarre is that? And for what purpose?
If someone replied to my msg, it shows up who they are, but that's it.
Isn't this a little odd? Or am I missing something?

I have to agree with you Ldy, the whole message system is quite confusing. Although I don't seem to have the problem you do with not knowing who I sent a message too. I only personally sent out one message and they had responded, the rest are messages sent to me, that I responded back to.
My confusion comes when I reply back to them, I have to preview before I can send, and then I'm asked for tags. Yes, I can understand the tags for our discussions but why do we tag our private messages? That really makes no sense to me. Do we get paid for our private messages? Do we get rated on them? Ok, sorry for all the questions.

Go ahead and try it. I meant to when I opened one yesterday, but forgot.
Ok, I'm going to read your msg now and respond. Read it and respond, but don't delete it yet.
Then get out of msg, then go into msg again and you'll see that it will show me now.

That is weird Ldyjarhead! I haven't used the message system too much yet, but next time I do I will be sure to look for that problem you describe. That would be very confusing... hopefully myLot will fix that soon. I haven't been very active here these past 2 weeks or so... my mom was visiting from out of state, but she left yesterday so I'm sure I'll be online more often again.

Yep, it's confuzzling for sure.
I may have to send in a request for them to look at that with the next update.

Great thought here, and I would Love if they would seperate our discussions a little more like as you have suggested, as I also find it hard to follow them at times as well. Maybe Crash will see this discussion, and consider adding something like this in the future.

You can, but you have to go into each message individually to do it.
Another thing that needs fixin' ...

Nope, it isn't you, it is confusing which is probably why you add the "tags" to find what you are looking for..

I have to agree that it is a odd system. It took me a minut to realize the messages are set up just like the discussion, so you look for a response, then you get your message. If the person responds. Very weird.When I first saw it, I thought, hey did I do something wrong, why did I receive my message. So I am with you Marie Anne, they do have a odd way to send messages off, and receive them back.
