do you know how to deal with fishbone stuck in throat? help

I just swallowed one just a week ago and gosh I was in agony for a week! I wonder how I had it dislodged my throat. After I got tired of thinking of ways on how to get rid of it, and after hurting my throat for not swallow everything I eat, I totally forgot about it. Then, just one morning, I realized it was gone. yehey!

One common home remedy I know of is to suck on a piece of lime/lemon. Apparently the acidic juice dissolves the bone somewhat and causes it to move. Hope this works. Good luck to your friend.
