its the long weekend and i have been invaded by all my daughters friends.they range between 16 and 19 years old.they sit around and watch movies and eat and generally have a good time, sleeping over.luckily i have a large house.i rather have them at my house having a good time, than wandering the streets and not knowing where they are.i feel good that these kids think i am a welcoming person and they feel comfortable here.they are good kids.do you have a house full of kids.i actually love having all of them here and know that they are safe.i hate kids wandering the streets.what are your thoughts about kids wandering the streets.cheers sue

when my son was young ours was the house that all the kids congregated in and like you I was happy because I knew he was home and I knew what he was doing.

its a good feeling knowing the kids feel comfortable in your home and that they are happy. they actually are really considerate and bring food and drink with them, and munchies,so i am never really out of pocket for extra food.cheers sue

Sounds like a great way to spend Easter. I agree that it is better they are with you than wander the streets.

yes its fun and i know what they are all up too.its a shame that a lot of parents do not know or care where their children are.i would rather have 10 or so kids here having fun, than trying to look for fun elsewhere.cheers sue

I've been there done that. I understand knowing where your children are and off the streets. But I have had bad experiences in the past from letting my daughter have her friends over. My daughters are now 21 and 18 and I sure don't miss those days. Glad yours was a good weekend with teenage girls!
