What books do you read to put your child to sleep

I've always liked Dr. Seuss's Sleep book. In fact, most Dr. Seuss books work on my daughter at night.

when he was a little fellow our son used to always request his father to read the bedtime story (I was to read other stories during the day) and he always requested the same story - the 500 hats by dr seuss. I do not think the story was ever read the whole way through before my dh would fall to sleep in our son's bed.... he always fell asleep before the child, I think son was a bit conniving in this!
