It snowed on Easter!

lol, it snowed over here as well, and I live in Illinois XD It's probably Global Warming or something, I remember 10 years ago, weather was not so warm or cold at times...

Well it was actually nice to see sense i haven't seen it snow in over a month.. I know I know some people are sick of it.. But you have to remember it's still March and Spring is around the conner but before it turns spring the snow has to go some where so it falls down and the weather will than get better! I love it though it was nice!!!

For sure, mother nature does crazy things. Just a few days ago we had 12 inches of rain and 1,000 families got displaced just before easter.

We had a gorgeous day here in Maryland. The heat was off, saving money, LOL. I heard this morning it only got to 50 degrees but it felt warmer than that. I'm kinda of bummed that winter is really over, since Maryland hardly got any snow!!!! Wah!!!! I know your area of the country got more than your share this year. But I love spring, I heard the little birdies chirping this morning!!!

I can believe because you got our snow. Sorry to send it your way my friend. I didn't mean to. We had it on Friday all day and a little part of Saturday. Most of it has melted off already and it seems warm out today! Finally! Hope you had a good Easter anyway.

Actually, it snowed the day before Easter where I live. It didn't actually snow on easter, it was a nice day that day. It was a good thing too, since the children in the family were expecting to go on an easter egg hunt, and they were able to. I personally really dislike cold weather, so I'm ecstatic that summer is almost here. I would much rather be sweating and hot than freezing cold. I figure it is much easier to cool down than it is to warm up. On the other hand, my boyfriend loves the cold, and hates the heat!

Same here... I'm in West Sussex. It's freezing out there again tonight, too. I just wish it would hurry up and warm up. All the flowers came out in the February Sun and now, they're being ruined by gales, heavy rain, frost and snow. What sort of weather is that for the end of March? The clocks change to summer time next week. Let's hope that brings a change in the weather too. I want to get out!!! Brightest Blessings.

Yep we got it here in Nebraska too. Dang cold winter. I too can not wait for spring. I am really sick of winter this year. I hope it isn't too cold this summer or rainy. Seems last year we had a lot of rain over the summer. Was great for the dried up lakes but no fun for swimming in them as they were cold. I hope we both get our wish and we start to warm up quickly. The heat will help a lot of peoples moods too I think*L* Seems everyone is sick of winter and are a bit more cranky I think.

It has flurried here off and on all day and I am with you- bring on spring! I am ready for warm weather and nice days. I am tired of cold and wet days. I remember when it has been really nice on Easter, but there is not going to be outdoors egg hunts today as it is cold and snowy.

Whoa! There are really strange happening around. In my country, it was supposed to be warm and sunny. Our city conducts a flower festival every February and March is to be a hot season, but I am wondering why is it almost raining everyday! We cannot detect so far the effects of global warming. It is something that should warn everyone of us. We are seeing the consequences now. Just my loud guess!

No kidding! I was getting dressed for church and, looking outside, my sweaters with penguins, or the moose/cabin winter scene, etc seemed appropriate, but it just seemed so wrong considering it is EASTER! Ugh! (I opted for a sweater in spring-type colors...lol)

This morning here in east midlands UK..we had enough snow for the local childern to build a snowman!! It seemed really strange!!!!! Roll on that warmer weather!!

Yup. Tell me about it. I asnwered a post about snow in the spring. This reminds me of it. I keep wondering about global warming? Thought we were having a melting problem not a snowing one! Easter is just not the same with snow :(

Yes its true. Same here in Germany. I am desperately waiting for Spring to arrive.

Wow I have never heard of that. But I guess you can say that the weather is so unpredictable. These days it will snow one day, then they next day it is like ninety degrees.

yes, it was snowing here too. I thought spring will start, but I was wrong

My niece called this morning before they headed out the door to come down here for dinner and said that it was snowing there too. It was cold here, but no snow. They got hit by some more snow on the way back home too.

It's been a really crazy winter season for you Northerners and Mid Westerners! Another reason I think is that Easter was a bit early this year since its usually in April. Hopefully you guys will enjoy some warm sunshine soon!
