We went to my daughters for Easter dinner/lunch. It was a great meal and lots of fun. My son-in-laws brother and parents were there as well. During the meal we sat around the TV and watched a Superman movie. I can't recall which one though. Anyhow prior to eating etc I sat at my daughters computer checking my mail. After a few minutes I felt something on my ankle. It was like a mosquito biting me. In March in Minnesota? Odd I thought. I looked down and there was my buddy. It was my daughters ferrwet Timmy nipping at my socks. Seems he liked the fuzziness or something. I picked him up setting him on my lap and he licked my hand and arm being so content. He is such a cutie. She lets him run around the house. he is litter trained and is a well behaved ferret. This photo was taken of him in his house in the living room. Its a cardbopard box turned upside down with a small opening for him with his name written above the opening. I love this little ankle biting weasel. Do you have a ferret or know someone that does? Or do you have another untypical household pet? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Pets can be so cute. I would have loved to have seen that. I bet the whole episode would have made a great video. My sister has a lot of pets, and we could tell a million stories about the wonderful things they do every day.

I remember one time when my sister's new kitten came running into the living room, jumped over a pillow, and landed on a vibrating back pad that my sister was demonstrating for my mother. As soon as the cat felt the vibrations, he jumped up into the air, did a tripple flip, and climbed up onto the top of the mantle. He would't come down till it was time to go home.

Hmm.....I though I responded to this a few days ago when I saw it, but I do not see my response here. myLot must have eaten it. A friend of mine growing up had a ferret. Hers was litter trained as well. He was also very anti-social. Most of the time I forgot she even had a ferret. We have some peafowl, but they live outside, so I guess no unusual household pets. Just outside pets.

Hi Grandpa Bob, I'm sorry, I had no idea you'd started all of these discussions, as I'm quite lost without my notifications. I didn't get any for all of the ones you told me you started. I can't believe I'm only the 2nd to respond here. Your daughters ferret is so adorable, and my niece would be very jealous, as she's always wanted one. She's away at university, and I don't think her room mates would appreciate this. Take care.
