I live in a pretty diverse city and there are ALOT of hoodlums that use Halloween as an excuse to act out and cause problems. Its really sad that rotten people are taking this holiday away from our kids. How are things in your area on Halloween?

Our area isn't too bad for hoodlums acting up. The thing that really annoyes me is that people drop their kids off by the van loads, so it takes the candy away from the kids who do actually live in our area.

Tell me about it! My city is not so great, my neighborhood is the best in the city so of course EVERYONE comes here to trick-or-treat. It consists of 4 parallel narrow streets of maybe 24 houses per street. I could buy 50-60 bags of candy and still not have enough. Im sorta glad I now have kids so I can take them out instead of standing at my door for hours non-stop. Your right it does take away from the kids who live in the area, but at the same time its nice to have a safe place for all the kids to go.

Watch Dog - He don't let folks in the yard
mostly it is o.k. here. a few roll yards and may egg houses but most get caught. we just ignore them, and if we get rolled its just 1 day of cleaning, no big deal. But our dogs usually keep everyone at bay.

Your dog is cute! I lost my Rottweiler a couple months ago but she always made me feel safer on Halloween. I would put her on the front porch so nobody got any ideas of messing with my house. The dog I have now is a Bernese Mountain dog, he is NO watch-dog lol.
