A question, well really a rant

I mainly anymore only use myspace for Bonanza roleplaying, and I have an Adam Cartwright profile and a Little Joe Cartwright profile both of which I use for the Bonanza roleplaying I do there. So my rant is this. Why is it that when I'm RPing, I can never get what I want to happen with my characters to happen without a certain person(the one person I do basically all my RPing with on there) threarning to quit or do something drastic to one or more of their characters if they do what I want? That isn't me getting what I want because I also want my character happy too and if they do what they threaten then my characters wouldn't be happy and that person knows that too. They know when they start threatning that, that I'm just gonna back down and give in and let things go their way like always. It's to the point that even though I love Bonanza RPing that unless I can find someone else to RP with that I'm considering quitting.
