Why does love hurt?

I think until I get answer and may not even admire falling in love again. Is love all about hurting and getting hurt? If it about that then I think it will have to wait for much longer than expected. The only person that I only trust is God. But mankind has become too stupid to learn and know what exactly he or she wants. If a woman says she cares about the next day be ready to die of shock by being told that she had found someone better than you. Girls really I think never fall in love and if they do they do not know the actual person they fell in love with.

I don't think it's love itself that actually does the hurting. It's the people you surround yourself with that have the capability of damaging you. In order to love, one must make themselves vulnerable to being hurt. You're figuratively placing your heart in someone else's hands, for them to hold and cherish, or to stomp on. People are unreliable, and by putting your trust in someone, you're taking a gamble. I will say that when you choose the right person, it is worth it. When you don't choose well, you may get your heart broken. Get to know someone really well before committing your heart to them. Make sure they know you as well.
