childrens Vitamins like Flintstones? Do you do it daily or when you think about it. Does this mean your kids are getting enough of what they need?

I am always telling my mom to give my little sister her Flintstones Gummy Vitamins since she is a picky eater and doens't even eat half her lunch at school it is hard to monitor all that a child eats when they are away from home. I think they should have vitamins weather we think they get enough or not because the vitamins have all they need I know it would be hard for anyone to eat all they need of one thing. I think that is what is wrong with some kids today. Did you know that magnesium deficiency can cause a child to have ADD or AHHD symtoms well react as though they have it when in fact they don't it is just vitamin deficiency This is what my brothers doctor said. I have also read it somewhere when researching it when my brother was talking about it.So I think it is better to give them one my mom always buys the gummy types I don't know if they have all that the pill form has. Better safe then sorry. They need certain vitamins to boost up their immune system in colder months so they aren't as bad to catch an illness..

My baby takes multivitamins every day after breakfast... that is upon the recommendation of the doctor... and i think it is good for her because... she is very picky with her food... and the multivitamins make up for her eating habit... i just hope that this will change slowly as she grows older... but even if it does... i will still make her take multi vitamins...

I have a large bottle of chewables they are the no name brand imitation of flintstones vitamins. We do not give them everyday but every now and again, probably twice a week on average. we do not depend upon them for nutrition... We do take chewable vit. C tabs during the change of seasons to help ward off colds. Amazingly only one of us got sick this past winter with cold like symptoms.

I don't give this to my son as I regard it as a kind of medicine. I prefer to take this essential elements from natural food.

I used to give him some vatamines to take, but I do not think that it is good enough. The best vatamine comes from our daily food. It is better to balance the diet we have every day. Thanks.

We have children's chewable vitamins in the house, but my son hates to take them. He thinks they are gross. I have given him the adult one that you have to swallow a few times, but I don't think to do it all the time. He drinks Ensure everyday since his appetite is practically nonexistent anymore, so I know he gets some vitamins from those. My daughter has the Enfamil liquid vitamins that I put in her juice a few times a week. She eats pretty healthy, so I am not as worried about her.

My kids make pretty good food choices, so I think they get what they need in what they eat each day. We do have childrens vitamins, but I hardly ever think to give them to my kids.
