Suggest you begin with your doctor; have a thorough work up and explain to him what your goals are. Follow his advise and also join a gym and get a personal trainer. Working together, your doctor and personal trainer should be able to help you gain a healthy weight. If you cannot afford a personal trainer and gym fees, try a protein powder from a good source such as Nutrilite. Research the web to find sites that specialize in healthcare--always run site advise by your doctor before trying them. Most of all do not be discouraged, it will take time to achieve your goal. Be safe in what you try and have your health monitored by a professional. Hopefully you will achieve your weight goal safely. Either way, you should remember that the person you are on the inside is more important than the person you are outside. Good luck.

Hi Pandaboy, getting fat does not have any secrete, it is just you and your mind. You only need to settle, relax and put your mind at ease. If you are schooling still, your mind is into books now but when you finish, get a job and settle down you gonna get fat until you hate yourself. I remember at 23 i was 52kgs and i was in college......a year later after my first job, i got to 56 and now at 25 am 60......I dint change my diet but its because i settled down and less stressed. You can try eating fatty foods, more starch, chocolates. Also try and deworm yourself. Good luck.

I am suspecting you have a problem in your metabolism if your diet is normal. I suggest you consult an endocrinologist for that. It may just be a problem in thyroid. I think you 55 kg. is just pretty normal maybe you should reach until 60 is okay. Mine is the opposite it seems I could not shed fats and gains very easily. I wish I had your problem as I don;t need to gain anymore weight with what I am right now.

Hello dear pandaboy. Do not worry about it. I used to be as thin as you are, but as I get older, I find that I have gained weight. Now I am no longer thin, but the weight I desire. So just let it be, pandaboy.

Hi pandaboy, My advice to you is to enjoy being thin, in a few years you will have more than enough weight. Of course if you want muscle, you should exercise, this would be much better for you. At your age, I was probably about the weight that you are now, but around forty, I started to gain, and ever since, I've had to work at staying slim. Just be happy with yourself for now. Blessings.
